Ever felt like your worth is tied to your bank account or how much you make?
As I dive into writing my book on wealth, I’ve been confronted with the harsh truth that my self-worth isn’t defined by my financial status. With a new baby and a huge dip in my income, I’ve faced those doubts head-on… again!
It was feeling really, really hard to move forward for a couple of weeks, if I’m honest. I’ve been challenged and confronted by the EXACT message that I’m trying to communicate in this book!
Funny how that works…
Here’s the truth: our financial circumstances don’t dictate our value or worth. It’s easy to fall into the shame and scarcity mindset and think we’re not enough. Which is exactly what makes it hard to move forward and keeps us in unproductive (or even destructive) behaviors.
I’ve walked this path before, feeling the shame of financial struggle, and it’s helped me to reconnect more deeply with those who feel trapped in similar situations. It’s also pushed me to reconnect with the true value I carry, the message I’m called to share, and the truth of who we ALL are beyond our financial status.
Remember, your gifts and worth are inherent, regardless of your bank balance. Let’s break free from these limiting beliefs together!
Grateful for this journey and eager to share more insights as I write.
